A Little About My Journey 🎶
I’ve spent years performing in symphony orchestras, playhouse theater pits and teaching has always been my way of sharing my love of music and the violin. One of my proudest moments was helping a young student overcome a fear of public performance. With focused guidance and a few months of preparation, they went on to perform as a soloist in a local concert and absolutely nailed it! That transformation—watching a student grow in confidence and skill—is why I love what I do.

Hi, I’m Chris Wojahn—or Mr. Chris, as my students call me. I’ve spent years navigating the world of violin the hard way—learning through trial and error, pushing through setbacks, and figuring out what really works. Now, as a professional violinist and Executive Artistic Director of ChrisWojahnViolin LLC, my mission is to help you take the easier, smarter path—so you can grow faster, play better, and truly enjoy the process.
I know what it’s like to feel stuck, to doubt yourself, and to wonder if you’ll ever reach the next level. But I also know that with the right guidance, you don’t have to struggle alone. My goal is to help you build a strong foundation, develop confidence, and make music a source of joy rather than frustration. Whether you’re just starting out or preparing for big auditions, I’ll be in your corner, making sure you have the tools and support to succeed.

Each lesson is one-on-one, either in person at my studio or online via Zoom, and is tailored to your specific goals. Whether you’re focusing on technique, preparing for auditions, or just learning to play for fun, I adapt each session to your needs.
What should I expect from my trial lesson?
Your free 60-minute trial lesson will focus on understanding your goals, assessing your technique, and laying the foundation for a personalized plan. It’s also a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and decide if we’re a good fit!
How much should I practice?
I encourage students to practice regularly, but quality is more important than quantity. We’ll develop a practice routine that works for you, with achievable goals that keep you motivated and progressing.
